Delete your account.

Last updated: 4 September 2026

App: Orba (Android package com.jawsome.orba, and the iOS app of the same name).

Published by: Jawsome.

You can delete your Orba account and the data attached to it at any time, and you do not need our permission to do it. This page explains both ways to ask, exactly what goes, and what stays behind.

Option 1 — Delete it yourself, in the app

This is the fastest route and it takes effect immediately.

  • Open Orba and go to Settings.
  • Tap Delete account.
  • Confirm. Your account and its data are erased right away and you are signed out.

There is no waiting period and no recovery window. Once it is done, it cannot be undone.

Option 2 — Ask us by email

If you have lost access to the app or to your sign-in method, write to us and we will do it for you.

alexeifentom@gmail.com — tell us the email address or sign-in method the account uses, from that address if you can, so we can confirm the account is yours.

We complete these requests within 30 days, and we will reply to confirm when it is done. We ask for nothing beyond what identifies the account.

What gets deleted

Either route runs the same erasure. It removes:

  • Your account itself — your user record, your sign-in credentials and every active session.
  • Your personal Inbox and everything in it.
  • Any Space where you were the last member left, together with all of its contents.
  • Your membership of every Space you shared with other people.
  • Every image you uploaded — possibility photos and your profile picture.
  • Your notifications, your registered devices and push tokens, your per-Space preferences and your block list.
  • The copies held on the phone you delete from — the offline cache, any data export you saved to it, and every cached image.

What stays, and for how long

Being straight with you about the exceptions:

What Why How long
Possibilities you added to a Space that other people still use. Removing them would tear holes in plans that belong to the whole group. Delete them yourself before you delete your account if you want them gone. Until the Space or the item is deleted by its members.
Abuse reports naming your account. So that repeat behaviour can still be recognised after an account disappears. Up to 12 months.
Server and security logs. Keeping the service running and investigating abuse. Within 30 days.
Encrypted backups. They roll over on a fixed cycle and are never restored selectively. Within 90 days.

If you were the only owner of a Space that other people still use, ownership passes to the longest-standing member left, so the group is not stranded without anyone who can manage it.

Want a copy first?

Deletion is permanent, so if you want your data before it goes, ask us at alexeifentom@gmail.com and we will send it within 30 days. Do that before you delete the account, not after.
